Education in South America
Brazil
In Brazil there is not the best kind of
education system like in Germany or other kinds of countries with lots of money.
The Brazilian government has not much money so that also causes problems to the
education system. Brazil is not the badest kind but one that has many problems.
The government tries there best but they need help and the children also want a
good education.
Peru
In Peru the teachers are not good trained
and there is often a battery garbage dump close to the school. In the schools
they now get trained how to separate the garbage so other
people don’t get sick. But nobody cares for them. That is a very bad thing. The
Students now don’t have so much time for learning and that is not good for their
live in the future. Peru has to find a solution.
Argentina
In Argentina they have a
normal education system and they have some problems but not so many like
different countries. Argentina is has a good government.
Chile
Chile has a very good literacy rate it
is around 96 %. This is pretty good for a South American country. The education
in Chile is not free anymore. Because the country thinks that the literacy can
go down when it is free. So than Chile has a very good literacy rate 96 % is a
very good literacy rate it is one of the best.
Uruguay
In Uruguay students are good educated for example nearly all of
Uruguay’s 380,000 primary-school children have a simple and cheap OX laptop.
This is one reason why in Uruguay they have a quite good education. Also the
public schools are free but only from 6-14 years.
At age 15,
students they have an option where they go depending on their choice of
education. For the next three to four years, students complete the bachellerito
which is similar to a high school diploma in the United States.
Paraguay
In Paraguay not all people
have the same opportunities, like in one area where poor people live they have a
bad opportunity but in other places like in the richer places you have a good
choice.
Ecuador
In 2006, the NGO Intervida
has determined the following things: Many students repeat grades in
school, and the number of early school leavers is high. In Ecuador the school
is not populair the parents from the students pay much money but the students
don’t work and that’s why many students have to repeat the classes or change
school or don’t end the school right.
Bolivia
In Bolivia the cities are
confused how to build a school system. The state has not really an idea of good,
controlled and managed education. In Bolivia there are only some people
that finish school until the 12th class. But this is pretty normal
for a South American school.
