form of school that educates children in primary years and secondary school 1,
who live on farms in middle Australia. At first the transmission took place by
means of short wave radio and has now changed over to internet technology. The
homework is sent by e-mail or gets sent to the teacher by internet. Every
student receives one hour each day of group or private teaching. The rest of the
day the students learn with materials that their teacher sent them. They get
help from parents, older sisters or brothers or a hired tutor.
